Welcome to Venturing Crew 904!

Welcome!

We are a co-ed scouting group of boys and girls ages 14-20, based in Garland, Texas. We're chartered by the United Methodist Men of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Garland. We're part of the Gray Owl District of the Circle 10 Council of North Texas.

Our Venturing Crew focuses on outdoor skills – camping, hiking, canoeing, etc. We enjoy monthly camping trips in the Fall and Spring, we have youth members work as Staff at area BSA camps, and as young adults we can participate in activities like archery, shooting, and high adventure trips. We also participate in area service projects and conduct annual youth leadership training course (VLSC). In the summer of 2006, a group of us went for a week at Florida Sea Base, the BSA High Adventure Camp in the Florida Keys.

Our fundraising projects provide members opportunities to earn funds to cover expenses such as campout fees and uniforms, so that everyone can have a way to pay for the basic costs of scouting.
